Most relaxing cruise I have taken while offering adventurous excursions!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smoothest process I have experienced to date.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
With only 3 specialty dining opportunities, Princess makes every dish count! Order the Kung Pao Chicken at Harmony, or indulge in the filet mignon at Sur le Mer, arguably better than the one offered at the Crown Grill which is the third specialty dining option they offer. The food in the main dining rooms is exceptional as well as the offerings at the buffet! 5 stars for food! Also, don't miss the noodle bar with daily soup specials!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
While I was aware that Princess does not cater to water enthusiasts (water slides and such), they do offer a nice variety of activities. I would like to have had a few more selections. Princess does know pools and has ample space for them as well as hot tubs! Other cruises failed to impress me in this area!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment offered is excellent however I wish there were more opportunities to attend them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Princess service is flawless. Rest assured that you will be well taken care of!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great location, close to elevators and stairs without hearing the noise. It was a bit small for a balcony room and I missed the sofa seating area that I found common on other cruise lines.

Ship tip

Do your research! If you are looking for high adventure on the ship, you may want to look elsewhere. I was specifically looking for a cruise on which I could focus on relaxing and Princess offers that in abundance. I heard several other passengers complaining of the lack of excitement, obviously they had no idea of what the Princess line is all about!

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Great food near our hotel. Check out Baramee for amazing Thai food. Lots of hotel options near the port. I recommend the Crowne Plaza. Not close enough to walk to the cruise terminal for most but well kept, quiet, and close to many food choices.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Spent the day at a resort with both bead and pool access. Nothing like relaxing pool side, or in the pool and having beverages served to you!

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Take a walk to the lighthouse. It's not overly strenuous, but beware the humidity!

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Catamaran and snorkeling! Fun times!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and effortless!

So glad you enjoyed your cruise. Completely agree about doing some research before committing to a cruiseline. Newbies won't know each line has different characteristics and yes, personalities. All depends on what you're looking for. No matter which line you choose, it can be as active or laid-back as you want it, you're the boss of your cruise adventure.
