Review summary

Overall I'd say we were disappointed with this experience

I don't know if it was because we had high expectations

for a new big ship the boat was new and big but most of the staff was unfriendly and rude some time! specially the guest service and the waitress in the breakfast restaurant and it will take very long to get your food, several time people just leave because they have excursion to go to. We often felt like we were bothering them, I was expecting nice smily staff.

Except in the dinner our two waiters (Cristina felongco and Novak iric ) and ( Ronald Regondola) the Head Waiter was very nice they know what we want specially I do have savers allergy to sea food they did work with me to make me happy they smile and laugh very pleasure people.

About the activity and entertainment i the ship very poor.

The room was clean and stateroom (Robert Espiritu) was nice

I went last year in a Norwegian cruise I was very happy may be when u compare u get disappointed

The specialist dining was not good we had dou let books at all three and canceled them the restaurants are so noisy they are not separate to the bar areas something they should work on.

Long curse in the dining room venues are too small for the amount of passengers flowers soso one lift has been out of service the whole cruise as has the laundry token machine on level 10 constantly had to go to guest services about being charged for drinks when we have paid for drink packages and just a suggestion to princess crunches why aren't all state rooms provided with dettolhand wash in their bathrooms we brought our own and wash our hands before leaving our room and on return as that's are do many sick elderly people on here coughing a nd sneezing I think it would help with the spread of neorovirus as well i don't understand how this isn't implemented.

YES, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY. I really wanted to go on this ship but heard very little good about this ship. I keep waiting for more reviews to see if they have improved, but they don't seem to materialize much. Thanks again.

THANK YOU for your honesty.... I have been researching the Majestic diligently and have found it to be riddled with complaints. I really wanted to go on this cruise, but just can't do it. The staff complaints are my biggest worry. Guess I"ll have to choose the Golden Princess out of Melbourne!

@annbar ABSOLUTELY!... and somehow ALL of us that don't complain "the majority", keep subjecting ourselves to the cruises just looking for OUR opportunity to be able to complain also!😂😂😂

Funny how most of the reviews are very good reviews and people think the experience was great . Then you get the one or two that are nothing but complaints . What does that tell you . Can the majority be wrong ?

I am not surprised at all I was in the maiden Year of The Royal. (About three months in of her maiden Year) Things were ok. Went back almost exactly three years later and I found things to be horrible. Both were Mediterranean Cruises. Staff not helpful. Long waits in dinning room. Bad restroom conditions just to name a few in the repeat voyage. Princess needs to take a good hard look at themselves to see other cruise lines are catching up and passing them by quickly. First time on the Royal I was surprised how technically behind it was other ships new innovative ideas and it was brand new. I had just been on the then three year old Oasis of the Seas. Right now the only thing Princess has going right are it's itineraries. Won't even consider sailing on them again for awhile and I'm a platinum cruiser close to next level.

People that complain in my opinion they should just think a lil bit longer before posting certain things; my wife and I ended up in situations were we had to wait etc..... but who cares; if you don't have time to eat because you have and excursion go early to eat and who care if the waiter is not friendly you don't have to hang out whit them......!! Grow up

It's hard NOT to compare one ship to another; especially when a previous cruise was exceptional. I agree @DottieDiehl I've heard some great things about Princess. I suppose for every hundred great reviews, there's bound to be a not so great one.ð¹

Wow, I'm surprised at your review. One would think Princess would go all out on their new ship to drawl cruisers to try it. Can I ask you what was the average age of the cruisers?
