Review summary

This was the longest cruise for us and we were worried that we might be bored but the truth is that time flies when you are having fun and we certainly did have a wonderful time that almost felt short.

Embarkation

It was very quick and perfectly organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was very good and varied. We didn't experienced the specialty restaurants. We went to the buffet for breakfast where it was very good except that most of the time they had runned out of corn flakes...

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
This cruise is more for people that like intellectual activities more that physical. The nature and environment talks were extremely good.

Entertainment

The best place to see big crocodiles! Also important are the historic sites from 2nd World War. No excursion.

Komodo Island, Indonesia Did not visit port

Was very hot and visit was by tender only. Also you could only visit with an excursion.

Broome, Australia

Very nice holiday place. Gateway to the Kimberleys region of Australia. Interesting also for its history of cultured pearls business.

No excursion.

Fremantle (Perth), Australia

We took a train to Perth (22Km). Perth is a beautiful city with every amenity of a metropolis with the advantage of low population. There is a lot to do here! No excursion.

Albany, Australia

Amazing little town, very picturesque with very pretty Port entrance.

Adelaide, Australia

5 out of 5
Again here the Port is not in Adelaide but in Outer Harbour. We took a train to Adelaide (20Km). They do have a Hop on Hop off Buses for free with 2 routes, a short CBD one and a long outer suburbs one. A lot to do here. This area is the place were the best australian wines are produced. No excursion.

PENNESHAW, KANGAROO ISLAND, AUSTRALIA Did not visit port

Too windy for tender.

Melbourne, Australia

Second largest city in Australia. A lot to see here to suit every interest.

Burnie, Tasmania, Australia

Nice little town. Unfortunately it was very windy and cold that day so we couldn't do much other than stroll around town and quickly went back to the ship. No excursion.
