We had a wonderful time on this 10 day cruise. It gave us plenty of time to relax, meet people and experience different things. Entertainment was memorable.
Embarkation

We arrived in Houston night before and stayed overnight in a Marriott hotel. We took a RCCL arranged shuttle to Galveston next morning. Embarkation was extremely smooth with priority check-in available for suite and pinnacle cruisers. We got on board about 11:30 AM just in time for lunch in the Windjammer.

Food in the MDR and the Windjammer was good but lacked variety. The new menu has fewer items available. I miss the rack of lamb and roasted duck which are no longer available. Other classic items like the shrimp cocktail are only available on certain days. Lobster tail was served one evening but was limited to one tail per person.
Onboard Activities

There were adequate activities available to keep everyone occupied. We mainly enjoyed the relaxation type activities.

We generally prefer the larger ships. We chose this cruise because of its itinerary which was more suited to our liking.

Our Junior suite cabin was comfortable and clean and of adequate size.
Ship tip
Radiance of the Seas is an older ship so keep your expectations low.
