This was my first cruise and a college graduation gift for my daughter. We planned this trip wrll the n advance and I was dissatisfied.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Our room attendant locked us out on our balcony before we set sail. We were stranded out there. Finally the people next door came out to their balcony and were able to contact the attendent to let us back in. He was laughing while opening the door. Not funny.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We ate in the dining room for two night gets but the food took a long time and was overcooked. The buffet was pretty good but crowded. Hard to find seating for two.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Pool areas too crowded. No seats available. The fitness center was nice and great views.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We saw all of the shows. The shows were entertaining but not a Vegas caliber.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Our room attendant was okay. The service at the dining room was super slow.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship seemed clean. There was a strange smell on our floor. Smelled like sewage.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was supposed to have 2 twin beds but had one bed when we arrived. The bed was corrected by bedtime that evening. Our room was made up and cleaned daily but some dishes were not picked up/removed.
Our excision was CoCo Beach Club. Very nice infinity pool and private beach. This was the best part of the trip. Lunch at the grill was included. I did not like the food. It was cold.
We booked the Sea Lion excursion 2 months in advance but we’re told while waiting on the pier to go there that we had been canceled from going. Some of the Sea Lions were not well so there couldn’t accommodate us. They offered a blue lagoon beach with lunch included and returned our money. We were disappointed about the sea lions being canceled and tried to make the best of the day. I rented a beach bed for $60 because there weren’t enough beach chairs.
