Review summary

Next time we will seek a smaller ship with less people and no kid friendly options. Food here was good and shops were nice. Our cabin was beautiful and relaxing. Drinks were expensive and watered down, however.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy access to ship via terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Excellent food in all spaces.......drinks were watered down. LONG waits to enter main Dining Room.....long lines illustrated poor planning for such large attendance on the ship.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
enjoyed pool areas but crowded hallways and elevators.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Large stage shows were excellent......juggler/comedian was less than entertaining.

Children's Programs

No kids with us....

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward as fabulous and waiters/servers in dining room was fabulous.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Needing updating and maintenance, but clean and attractive.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent, clean, comfortable and adequate room size. Cabin steward kept things well organized and clean.

Ship tip

Check the number of people sailing.....this cruise had such large crowds that elevators and hallways were always crowded. Also, I would avoid all the kid friendly options. As adults, we would rather choose a smaller ship with adult activities and avoid kids attractions.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Disembarkation

Very crowded, disorganized process led to long wait times in elevators and hallways.

Sorry you were disappointed with the number of children. I asked on our last cruise, when is the time for the most children? The answer was Thanksgiving. We also avoid sailing mid-March to mid-April for Spring Break.

Maybe you should try Virgin - they don't allow kids onboard.

Glad you enjoyed it. Never cruise near a holiday if you don’t want crowds and lots of children.
