Really enjoyed the ship and our room. Even though it rained 6 of 7 days did not bother us with plenty of inside activities. Would do the same cruise again if cheap. Prefer cruises that go out of Florida simply because of distance between airport in Houston and cruise terminal in Galveston.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Only ate in Main Dining room & room service. Was very disappointed to find out Windjammer closes at 9:00. I am so use to getting a snack at midnight on all previous cruises this took me by surprise.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The casino is very small. However, it still was fun to play there without loosing a bundle of money.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Saturday Night Fever was an average Cruise ship show. The comedians were average.

Service and Staff

Every person we encountered in the ship was extremely professional and eager to help.

I concern the Freedom class the best layout of all the RCCL fleet. Not too big, not too small. They are doing a good job of not letting it look dated.
Cabin / Stateroom

Jr Suite which is 1.5 size of a balcony room. A nice size for 2 people. The bathroom is still tiny. Lots of closet space. There is no longer mini fridges in rooms. Now they are coolers with fixed temps, so forget about having a cold drink in your room or keeping milk for a day.
Ship tip
We found out this trip that our gambling points add up over a year period & once we reach 2500 we become prime members for a year. Prime members drink for free in the casino, have the best discount for wifi if it is booked on board and other perks. Trick is to check with the Casino host on first day to find out points for year. You want to get the “Prime” sticker added to your room card as soon as possible.
Has improved through the years. It is still Mexico. We have booked a shore excursion 4 times to go to the Mayan ruins with RCCL when in Cozumel and on every cruise it has been cancelled at the last minute.
