Review summary
We greatly enjoyed our time on Liberty of the Seas. We flew a long way for the cruise but it was certainly worth the trip. The ship was SUPER clean and didn't seem at all large. We'd previously cruised on ships that held around 2,500 passengers and were worried that this would seem too large, but it didn't at all. The layout was incredibly convenient. Our cabin was on the second floor towards the rear and it was never a problem to get anywhere (though you do often have to wait for the elevators) we mainly used the rear elevators and stairs. The kids LOVED Splashaway Bay. We all loved the mini golf too, but it was so incredibly hot up there in the front of the ship that we didn't linger. Don't miss giving the Flowrider a try! The boogie boarding is fun for all ages, no special skill required. :) Also, don't miss the Tidal Wave slide; it's a fantastic thrill ride! However, there are very specific guidelines for the tandem inner-tube ride. You have to have two riders and they have to be over 52 inches, over a certain weight, and under a certain weight. Because of this, I couldn't ride it with anyone else in my party. Thankfully another mom was in the same situation and we rode together!Embarkation
