Review summary

This was my fourth cruise, but my first without children. Liberty did not have as many activities as the larger, newer ships, but my husband and I enjoyed the cruise. I’m not sure if my teens would have been as entertained with this ship as Anthem. This ship is laid back, and it caters to Texans. There were many older couples as well as honeymooners on the ship, and they seemed to have a great time. We did not attend many shows, mainly because the dining times did not coordinate well with the show times. The ship is showing its age, but it is very clean. Service was excellent. We ate in the dining room nightly, and the food was average to good. They did an excellent job catering to my husband’s dietary needs. Overall a great cruise for couples and families with small kids.

The Liberty will get "amped" in 2021 which will add many Quantum Class ship features. By end 2021 all Voyager, Independence and Oasis class ships are to be "amped".
