Overall, we enjoyed the cruise and would go on it again. Although there are issues from time to time, each and every of the 17 cruises I’ve taken thus far have been wonderful and memorable. I love cruising and my favorite type of vacation.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation went pretty smooth. Experienced shorter lines partially due to Crown and Anchor member level.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food and drinks were good to excellent. Never had to wait long for drinks.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The food and service were excellent at Chops Grill. The steaks were as good if not better than some well-known steakhouse restaurants. We bought the 3 specialty dining package and ate twice at Chops. We enjoyed both visits very much, worth the extra charge. I would recommend Chops Grills to all.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The entertainment was fair to excellent. It appears the cruise lines are starting to cut back on the bigger production shows. The ice show was the best, next the comedian, followed by the juggler and least were the Mo5iac group and Saturday Night Fever production. Would have enjoyed a variety show and/or more comedian shows.
Children's Programs
No children. Actually, there were too many children.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All were friendly, professional and polite.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Always enjoy Royal Caribbean’s promenade mall area. Many places to sit, enjoy and relax.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
First time in an inside cabin but with a window overlooking the promenade mall area. It was a bit tight, but comfortable. Did not like the fact that I never knew if it was morning or night.
Ship tip
Try to visit Chops Grill. If having breakfast in the Windjammer, either go very early or wait until 10am. It was very congested all other times.
Disembarkation was horrible due to not being able to dock for about 6 hours due to fog. To make matters worse the announcements were confusing, misleading and difficult to understand.
