Definitely book one or two specialty restaurants, well worth the extra money.

Make sure to check out the Grand Dutch Cafe! The food is amazing especially the split pea soup and the toasted ham and cheese, and it’s included in your fare.

Be prepared that entertainment still has a way to go. They are changing formats but need some upgrades to entertainers.

This is a large passenger ship and seems to cater to mainly VERY old people who are slow and/or infirm. You need to bear this in mind. It can be trying.

Enjoy the cruise

go ashore to explore the world -just relax when possible, take massages and go to the gym to avoid getting fat :-)

As with all cruise ships, treating staff with respect and showing appreciation ALWAYS helps, no need for bossy behavior and being disrespectful,

Get the unlimited Laundery plan. You don't waste time doing clothes and can pack lightly. Also the formal nights were not a big deal. Quite a few people did not wear coats. Very few wore ties. I liked this casual atmosphere. Do not want to wear a coat and tie on vacation for dinner. Don't bring too many clothes.

Nicest ship we have ever been on.

do the anytime dining so you can coordinate with the shows. Also bring a deck of cards since there's not much to during the day that's free.
