I mostly enjoy the cruise, but the extremely noisy dining room put a damper on dinner every day. We try to avoid the dining room a few nights, but our choice is always to go to the main dining room. We heard the fixed time dining room Is not as noisy. The dining times are either too early or too late. That’s why we usually enjoy the anytime dining option. We can go based on our activities for that day.

Food was fine. Due to less staff, service is slow. Biggest problem is noise level. Using a sound meter, the noise registered as a rock concert. It is so loud that you can’t hear the person next to you, let alone across the table. Low ceilings, no sound absorbing tiles, just deafening. Everyone who works in the dining room must suffer hearing loss from all the noise.

Like older Holland America ships layouts better. Common areas were definitely clean and well-maintained.

Excellent spacious cabin. Spacious veranda where we enjoyed breakfast on early excursion days. Incredible amount of storage. Bathtub should have a hanging showerhead because the shower, although very nice, is small. a shower curtain and showerhead in the bathtub would be helpful.
Visited Isle of Capri with a tour group. Very hot and crowded, but the views from the chairlift in the top of the mountain or so memorable. Totally touristy but still worth a visit.
