Review summary

Great experience on HAL. First time in Neptune suite and it was amazing. The real stars are the staff though. We witnessed them dealing with grumpy people with grace. Club Orange dining was great. Very peaceful compared to the main venues. Lido buffet food was always just about warm. Dive in burgers were great. Entertainment was varied and constant. A totally relaxing cruise that was so good we keep wondering if we should switch our upcoming 2026 cruise to Holland from Celebrity.

Embarkation

Embarkation was a chaotic whirlwind. The Holland America part was very smooth and efficient. We did not see a dedicated line for Neptune suite passengers or club Orange. However, we were sent to the front of the line when the person reviewed our docs. The US customs part was chaos, but that's not on Holland. Total time taken was roughly an hour.

Club Orange was very good. Hot food freshly made. Lido buffet food okay just Luke warm. Room service was prompt. Dive in and NYpizza both what you would expect.

We were in Aft corner stateroom 7189. It was well presented. Lots of room to spread out and ohh that balcony.
