Review summary

Overall I would say that the cruise was a successful time for our first time. However I have discovered that cruises will not be for me. I enjoyed the time on land most of all. Having traveled with sisters and friends that was an awesome part as well. Getting covid to finish off the trip was not my favorite thing! Thanks Koningsdam for an experience!

Embarkation

There was lots of help getting on board with my sisters in a wheelchair and tall walker.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The dining was an awesome experience especially with Poalo and John at table number 270. At the Tamarind Anita showed us a wonderful dining experience.

Onboard Activities

Saw them all, they look great but was not able to participate in much. Did not have the desire.

Entertainment

In the world stage we enjoyed the dance show and the native show they were both great to watch and learn from.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
For our dining experience once more Poalo and John that table number 270 were excellent servers and we're so friendly. They provided us with everything we wanted and never rushed us. At the Grand Dutch cafe the service there was great! As for room service ho ho and Fifi were excellent stewards. They met our needs with everything we ever wanted, they were kind and left us wonderful towel animals!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The design of the ship is very intriguing. We did have difficulty as we were in wheelchairs and walkers so access to the elevators and areas we needed to go to was a little bit of work. As for the cleanliness it appeared to be just great our room was super! However I did arrive home after a short bout of seeming to have a cold to realize that I in fact I had covid.

Cabin / Stateroom

Well, with three women a wheelchair and a tall Walker in this room it was very trying. We had to maneuver equipment around as there was not enough space to drive the wheelchair or the Walker. This could have been an oversight in our booking not sure. However being who we are we managed to make the best of it. The veranda was wonderful! We had time to view God's creation and sit and enjoy the sunshine He provided.

Ship tip

Be sure to know your needs and express them clearly to whomever you are booking with!

We had arrived 4 days earlier and took a trip up to Whistler. As Canadians we have been in this city a few times. As usual loved it!
