We showed up an hour before our embarkation time and were surprised they told us to head on in to check-in. The whole process was smooth with no issues.

Lido Market

Lots of options at the Lido Market. It’s not a five-star eatery. But there’s something for everyone. Towards the end of service, you might grab food that’s been sitting out awhile. Some sandwiches may have bread that has started to dry out, for example.

Quality food. You won’t be disappointed.

Onboard Activities

We weren’t looking for a cruise full of activities. We just wanted to relax. So that’s what we did.

Rolling Stone Rock Room

The band was really good. Awesome musicians. People showed up an hour early to get a good seat.

Our six-year-old had a good time at Club HAL and made some friends. But it was Christmas. So there were lots of kids. Any other time of year with less kids, maybe our review would be different.

Super friendly and helpful. We didn’t see any signs of it being understaffed, as some have pointed out in previous reviews.

The room attendants were great. Even took the time to line up our kid’s toys on the shelf. Room was cleaned twice a day.

Ship tip

Choose it if you’re looking for a nice, fairly quiet, relaxing time.

We did the beach resort excursion. The beach and resort were nice. I was offered coke three times by three different locals in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it was not the beverage they were offering.

Thanks for the review. I always try to get to the port early. Even the lines who police the check in timed like Carnival and Disney often let you go in early if things are moving quick that morning.
