Review summary
My cruise was a round trip from Vancouver BC to Alaska. I arrived to Vancouver early to explore the port and also visit Victoria and the Butchard Gardens. I had a great voyage with my family. I had been to Alaska before, but was able to see new locations and shared them with my family.Embarkation

Food and Dining
24-Hour In-Room Dining
I tried the in-room dining one evening and really enjoyed a club sandwich and a cheese plate. The food was delivered promptly and the server was quite friendly and helpful.
Dive-In
The burgers, hotdogs and fries were all readily available right next to the main pool and hit the spot for lunch!
New York Pizza
I found myself at this food site many times. The pizzas were made to order and delicious, and i really enjoyed tbe available salads, especially the Caprese.
Nami Sushi
My main concern was that i did not spend more time here ir eat here more often! The sushi chef and servers were all friendly and we had great conversations. The sushi was delicious and the views out tne window were spectacular!
Piano Bar
The music was wonderful to sit and listen to throughout the day.
Club Orange
I ate jere for nearly every dinner and twice for breakfast. The servers were all quite friendly and accommodating, and the food was very well prepared and delicious!
Blend
I was only able to book a seat at Blend on the final day, but really liked the opportunity to craft my own red wine blend. My family shared it during dinner and it was well received, and completely finished!
Gelato
I thoroughly enjoyed going to gelato. The milkshakes were great on warm days, and i was thrilled that my favorite (mint chocolate chip) was always available!
Onboard Activities
Rolling Stone Rock Room
I really liked listening to and singing along with the band in the evening .
Entertainment
Billboard Onboard
I enjoyed listening to the dueling pianos. The musicians were clearly accomplished, however there was very little audience interaction, which i have thoroughly enjoyed on previous cruises on Holland America. I ft that i could have easily just watched the performances on television rather than actually being present, due to the non-interactivity of the performers.

This is a noticably larger ship than is typical of Holland America. Be sure to explore it all, i was still finding new things even on the last full day!
