Overall, we loved this cruise. as I mentioned earlier, this one was all about the ports for us. I would do it again!

Overall an excellent experience with a few disappointments along the way. Porting in Waterford, Ireland on a Sunday at 7AM was senseless being that the city is pretty much shut down until noon on Sundays, that was lame. Akureyri, Iceland didn't have much to offer either....although we didn't "hate" our time there, I wouldn't go back. Aside from those two minor complaints, we had a wonderful vacation with RCCL.

I left off the enlightenment lectures. Robert Hulse was amazing as for Bbill and Sue. Both spoke on history. Hulse on engineering and Bill and Sue on presidents

On our triple play excursion, I fell over on the tandem bike which could have been avoided if Irving the tour guide was able to help and assist me with the bike ride. In the beginning, before we rode off on the trail, I asked Irving if I can ride behind him because I could not feel safe and comfortable riding with someone else. He refused to help me and I was left to ride behind my youngest son. Midway through the ride we both feel over and I suffered from 3 deep scratchiest, Irving did in fact ride a tandem bike so I could have sat behind him. Josh Lopez was kind enough to assist me in cleaning the wounds, whereas Irving persisted that I sign the form, "Accident Report / Release Form" before he can offer help. He refused to help if I did not sign to avoid responsibility. Also, there is no first aid kit in the tour bus or any excursion locations. As a result of this, I went to the doctors from the cruise to heal my wound and for the rest of three days on this cruise trip, I couldn't attend any more excursions and activities that the cruise has offer, so this is not a fun trip so it is a 3 star for me. One thing I want to mention is, I want to thank the doctor and nurse that helped me and 3 people in the dinning time, their names are: waiter Kleine, assistant waiter Mohamed, and the manager Yazar.

This was a very enjoyable cruise. Very relaxing. All the staff made you feel special. A great itinerary

RC provided another great cruise. Jewel of the Seas is perfect for those desiring a smaller ship. Great, friendly staff.

We are ready to cruise again. The sooner the better.

It was quite pleasant. the service was good. the entertainment could have been better.

This 6 day cruise was a perfect getaway. The food was excellent, the entertainment was excellent, we met some interesting people in the lounges. The port of Miami was easy enough to get to and the parking was right there, although it was a bit expensive.

Upon our arrival we detected an urine odor in the bathroom and shower area. I could not get past that and the crew immediately corrected the smell however, the room steward cleaned the mop on two occassions with a dirty/soiled stank mop. We decided to just leave the room and pray that the smell will dissipate. As with any other place I lay my head I took on the task to check where I would sleep Traumatic experience when one try to remove the sight of the disgusting mattress. Most disgusting mattress with holes/tears and stains. I am appalled that my hard earn money was wasted on this experience which was how my husband and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary. I've cruised with Royal Carribbean in the past and I am traumatized, disgusted, disappointed, and will not recommend this ship.

Overall a great cruise and our waiters Iman and Arjon were great.

Overall, the cruise was good. The first night in the dining room was slow and meal was not great but the staff was wonderful. The rest if the dinners were great and the windjammer always had decent choices. It was unfortunate that we were not able to dock at Costa Maya due to weather but Bimini, Bahamas was a wonderful stop with a lovely beach. Cozumel was enjoyable. Our room was fantastic. The size was great and it was nice to be able to close the curtains and let the kids sleep and still be able to move around and utilize the living space without bothering them.

Had it not been for my wife getting sick and being confined to the cabin all week, we would have had, I'm sure a wonderful cruise experience.

It was excellent. Foods were great. There were enough to do all day.

Nice relaxing cruise. Ship is just the right size for us. Miami is not our favorite port but it's OK.

Relaxing and good just not great. Wanted beaches and we found them...just wanted more time.

Possibly because of the long downtime due to Covid, Royal Caribbean has not bounced back to the previous RCCL we knew and loved. The shoreside crew was incompetent (i.e. - stockholder onboard credit was a frustrating experience with multiple calls and emails before cruise; and even after boarding we had to visit Guest Svcs 3 times and be very insistent to get our credit applied). The RCCL shipboard app was confusing to find information; actually it DID NOT work to make dining reservations and parts of it wouldn't work because we didn't check in on 1 phone 3 days BEFORE sailing and one cannot check in onboard later.

Let's face it; half of the fun on a ship is the food. Unfortunately, that was very disappointing on the Jewel of the Seas. We were also unhappy that our excursion to Costa Maya that took us to a club that was only partially open and where the food at the buffet was disgusting. We had so much fun with our friends, however, that their company made up for so many shortcomings.

Compared to other's cruises this one unfortunately not my favorite😣

It was great to be cruising again. The cruise overall was very good, the crew was friendly and professional, the food was excellent.
