Review summary

Great cruise the only issue was the entertainment staff not speaking English very well. Loved the size of the ship, staff was very good overall. If you don't need 14 places to eat every day the size of the ship is great.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived late about 2PM, walked on no line at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall we used the buffet for most all meals, we could always find more food that we enjoyed than we could eat. The MDR was just so so and services was a bit lacking.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Activities were lacking, we usually enjoy trivia but one issue that seems to be ongoing is that the person leading the trivia does not speak English very well and their accent is so heavy you cannot understand what they are saying. The Cruise Director also did not speak English very well and was hard to understand. Speakers were not very good they pretty much read the slides and did not offer much personal information or anecdotes. Gym was great and we used it almost every night, to prevent needing to buy new clothes!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some were good hypnotist and the Shadow show were very good, the rest we just skipped.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall ship was very good, room steward was great always kept the room clean and made up quickly.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We liked the overall design of the ship and had no issues, the Cinema is a bit small, but overall very nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Overall cabin was fine nothing great and no issues. Large Overhang reduces value of the balcony unless it is very hot. Shower was a bit tight but pressure and shower height was very good. Bed was very comfortable probably the best we had had on a ship. TV was pretty small but swung out and was easy to get to HDMI port to plug in my own devices. Only the usual one outlet on the wall opposite from the bed.

Ship tip

Make sure you can entertain yourself, plus if you do plan on using the balcony you can ask your cabin steward for a couple of loungers if you want.
