Review summary

This was a perfect length cruise for me and the guest demographics were just about perfect. Very few children on board and I did not experience unruly or excessively drunk people.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was the quickest embarkation I have ever experienced. Less than 20 minutes after arriving at the port and I was on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I only ate at the buffet but the selections were very good and I found something new ever day.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I admit that there weren't many extra activities that interested me during the day except the pools, whirlpools, and sitting in the sun.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The production shows were average but the special entertainment that they had was exceptional, i.e. Jimmy Hopper (singer) and Beatle Maniacs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always attentive and quick to help you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The layout and design was classic and not garish in style. Older ship but maintained well.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Stateroom was adequate and similar to other ships but the bathroom seemed smaller than I had experienced before.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Very surprised at the variety of things to do at this port. Avoid the Market Place; the vendors are aggressive.

Willemstad, Curacao

3 out of 5
I like the island and the downtown area is unique but the beach that we went to was overcrowded. The depth of the shoreline was minimal so the chairs were right up to the water. Also, everything is extra; chairs, activities, food, drink, water items, etc. Bring extra money.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Snorkeling was great with plenty of fish and turtles to see. The coral reefs are not colorful but they are very interesting.

Oranjestad, Aruba

4 out of 5
Busy port and plenty of shopping but nothing out of the ordinary. I did not do an excursion because I have been to Aruba numerous times.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
I have been to this island several times but decided to spend the afternoon at 7 Mile Beach. Excursion included a beach chair and one rum punch. Very nice beach.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
I thought the disembarkation was a little slow for the amount of guests on beard but I was still able to get to the airport on time. There is much confusion at the port to find the correct shuttle service.
