It was like most cruises - better since we went with 3 other couples.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We didn't board until 2pm so no lines and went very smoothly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was FREEZING! Mentioned it to the guy over the wait staff, but no change. NA on specialty restaurants; buffet was the usual.
Windjammer Café
3 out of 5
Food was pretty good, just needed more variety - along with sandwiches and better desserts.
Café Latte-Tudes
5 out of 5
Had scrumptuous shrimp sandwiches as well as great desserts that Windjammer or Tides did not have (didn't like desserts anyplace else). They also had delicious ham and cheese on croissants and salmon roll-ups (didn't try).
Tides Dining Room
1 out of 5
Froze every night. Not a good variety of desserts, but wait staff was great.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools were fine, except for the fact they were deep ALL over - no shallow end on either pool. My husband climbed the wall and liked it; he wished there had been a ping pong tournament and more trivia in mid-day and not near dining time. He does like karaoke.
Entertainment

Children's Programs
Ummmm....because we have grandkids and they don't come with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our room steward was not all that friendly as stewards go, but she did a good enough job. Our Head waiter was a go getter and very friendly - wonderful.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was our first time on Royal Caribbean and our room was the size was what we expected. Only wish the bed had not been in front of window so we could stand by window and look out.
Ship tip
This is about the size we always sail on, but if you like the big ships, this is small.
Did a tour that was great (salt flats, slave huts) and then to Cocoa Beach which was fantastic for snorkeling! Lots of all kinds of fish, etc. And we didn't have to pay for beach chairs. Shopped a little, but Bonaire is pricey on souvenirs.
It was quite a trek to town (although tents near port). We did take a tour that took us to see city & the homes of the rich (not that exciting to us). Our tour guide was great, but wouldn't do it again. Ended at Mambo Beach where we had to pay for beach chairs and everything but pay to get in. We weren't told that this beach was a topless beach. What a surprise.
