Jewel of the Seas was a great trip. The staff is great, and the entertainment was good. The ship offers many choices to meet everyone's expectation.

Main dining room was bland, and did not vary too much. Specialty restaurants were excellent. We ate at Chops twice, and Giovanni's twice. Buffet breakfasts and lunch were average.

Onboard Activities

Pools and live music at them were really good. Fitness center was bigger than expected and clean. The activities were very good helped by the smaller size of the ship.
Entertainment

The entertainment staff was great. The shows were enjoyable, but the live music each night in the centrum was great, as was the piano bar each night. Jazz night in the safari club was superb, The cinema showed good movies, and enjoyed hanging out in the pit stop sports bar with drinks each night.
Service and Staff

The waiters and the rest of the food and beverage team was great. They made the effort to meet each member of my family, and remember their names and what they liked. One of the benefits of a smaller ship - more intimate with the staff.

everything was very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Standard cabin with balcony. Was very clean, heard very little nose from outside the stateroom despite being in the middle hump of the ship where all the music in the Centrum was.
Ship tip
Book specialty restaurants, and go to as many activities / bars each night as possible. Lots of fun for all around the ship.
