Review summary
The itinerary for this cruise was awesome....at least 5 stops on a 7 night cruise. St Thomas, St Martaan & Barbados were our favorites because their beaches are awesome. I don't think St Kitts or Martinique are worth the trip except the shopping area at the port of St Kitts was nice.
Jewels is a much older ship and it shows. We expected fewer amenities but overall it's not too impressive. The main dining each night was okay, and our favorite meal was at a specialty restaurant that we needed to pay extra for. The entertainment was good, but one night there wasn't even a show.
The night club didn't start music until 11:00...which seems late for most people. There was a small main swimming pool that we hoped would have some type of music playing to promote a vacation atmosphere, but they only played music, no dancing, around the pool for about an hour after everyone boarded.
Overall, the employees were friendly and helpful. The cruise is worth it for the ports of call, but understand that the cruise ship is much older and therefore much smaller than many of the newer ships. We still recommend Royal Caribbean cruise ships over any others.

Ship tip
Taking taxis to your favorite beaches is probably the most efficient and cost effective way to get to any beach.
