Review summary

We live in St Croix, so getting to see five other islands on a week's cruise was a real treat! The trip was very pleasant, food was great, service was awesome, and pace was good.

We did not do any "ship sponsored" excursions. We live on St Croix and know that when you book an excursion thru the cruise, you pay more and the vendors don't get as much money - so we always just find a taxi driver and "create" our own excursion. We try to team up with another couple (whom we may or may not know) and we always spend less money, and the locals know WHEN and WHERE to go to avoid the cruise ship crowds. You get a much more personalized experience for a lot less money, and you avoid the "herds" of tourists.
