An exceptional cruise

Sail Date: October 29, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This is a wonderful itinerary. They keep this ship very clean. The staff is friendly and ready to assist you in any area.

Pros: This ship is so easy to learn your way around and the perfect size.

Cons: The smoke from the casino.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
It would be nice if the late seating were 15 minutes earlier so the shows could be 15 minutes earlier.
Cabin / Stateroom
Everything was clean and in great condition.
Service and Staff
Our waiter, Catalina, was exceptional in making sure I had a gluten-free dining experience. The staff in the Windjammer also went out of their way to make sure I knew what the g-f options were.
The entertainment was quite good but there was a lack of varied and good activities such as lectures, classes, etc. for a 14 day cruise. There are charges for craft classes.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
It was nice that there was time to go to St. John's.
Don't Miss: Megan's Bay Beach
Basseterre, St. Kitts
The shopkeepers were very friendly and enjoyed talking to you.
Bridgetown, Barbados

Don't Miss: Loved walking into town along the water.
Castries, St. Lucia
Love the fish and fruit market.
Don't Miss: Aquarium
