Review summary

This is a beautiful ship. We loved the solarium with heated pool for adults only. It was quiet and you could usually get a nice lounge chair. The workout facility was spacious and had plenty of machines so you didn't have to wait. The Windjammer was a great place to eat breakfast. There were no long lines and food was on islands categorized by type of food. It didn't seem like a cafeteria. The staff was outstanding - very friendly and upbeat. Made you feel like they really appreciated your business. Dining room service and food were excellent. We had a balcony cabin and it was small but there was ample room to store everything we had in four large suitcases. When emptied, we stored the suitcases under the bed. Cabin was serviced several times a day with fresh towels if needed. The shows were excellent. We had the late seating for dinner (8:30 pm) which was much too late for us but the show time was at 7 pm so it worked well with the dinner schedule. There should be more "my time" dining. We were scheduled for early seating (6:00 pm) but when we checked in, we were given the 8:30 pm seating. We asked to be switched and they did their best to accomodate us and offered my time after a couple of days.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The only thing we didn't like about our dining experience was the late dinner seating.

Service and Staff

Very friendly staff who were always upbeat. They seemed to love their job. One of the men at guest relations took time to come with me to the computer station when I had problems. He worked with me until the problem was resolved.

Ship Quality

Loved the ship. It was beautiful. We like to walk the around the ship on the deck for exercise but it was difficult to find a deck that we could walk around. We had to turn around. Lots of maintenance on the decks limited where you could walk.

Cabin / Stateroom

Rooms are small but have ample storage space. Liked the doors on the shower.

Ports of call

Colon, Panama

We took the tour that took us on a boat through the Panama canal. It was a great experience. If you haven't been through the canal, do it. It is a lot better than just observing ships passing through. It's expensive but well worth the money.
Don't Miss: Take the tour through the Panama canal.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Enjoyed our snorkeling trip but would have preferred an afternoon trip. Seeing the sunken ship was great.

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Beach was very crowded as there were 4 cruise ships in port at the same time. Not the place to do your souvenier shopping as it is expensive.

Cartagena, Colombia

Lots of tours available just off the pier but need to be careful of what you get in the tour.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

Don't Miss: Great shopping on the pier.

Pros: Solarium

Cons: second seating for dinner is much too late
