Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We loved the ship with its understated elegance and nautical decor.

Pros: food, staff, Adult Only pool area

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Spent most of our time relaxing in the Solarium, the Adult Only saltwater pool. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect for reading, sunning and sleeping.
Ship Quality
great layout, attractive public areas, especially the Centrum where you could have a drink, people watch, dance, relas listen to music
Food and Dining
The food was very good; but, our experience in Portofino was amazing..... delicious food, great presentation, attentive waiter. My husband wanted to eat there every night.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony (Rm. 9202) Good storage space, roomy shower, centrally located.
Service and Staff
A phone call for a clogged toilet brought help within five minutes.
A request for extra towels, more ice, and terry cloth robes were all met with smiles.
Cartagena, Colombia
I would not visit again.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Seven Mile beach was wonderful
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Best cruise line private beach area I've ever experienced. Better than Norwegian, Princess, and Holland America.
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
We visited Buocare Jungle Haven and enjoyed it
