This was our first cruise, and it was wonderful The ship was great, and the staff was wonderful. I especially want to praise our steward Nikki, who was very attentive to our needs. All the staff was great. our shore excursions were wonderful, and all of the people on shore were great. Look forward to our next cruise.

The ship was big but not so big that walking around was a problem for older folks. Our cabin, a mini suite was compact but really well thought out. We had a spacious veranda and everything was clean and sparkling

The land portion of the journey was excellent and was organized very well. The cruise was excellent as well except certain meals were not as good as in the past. Service was excellent. If an individual takes a land package, I would recommend going north to south and doing land first since it is very tiring and you can then relax on the first few sea days.

This was our first time sailing on the Island Princess (and only our second cruise). The ship was very clean and the stateroom very comfortable. We enjoyed the meals and the service was always wonderful. There were endless activities and the shows were very enjoyable.

I found the ship to be clean and our cabin immaculate. It was the easiest ship I have been on for learning my orientation.

The Island Princess is showing a little age but still a nice ship. Because it is smaller so it can fit through the Panama canal it rocked more than other cruises we have been on. Also, there were less areas/venues and smaller pools than the other Princess ships besides the Coral, which I understand is about the same.

My wife and I went on the Island Princess to the Panama Canal out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. in October 2013. We stayed in a hotel near the port the day before which I highly recommend. I must tell you that we were both very happy with the cruise. I am a large critic of cruises as I have gone on about 10 or 11 so far. I seem to look at the negative more than the positive but this cruise was a very good experience. The mini suite was good, the steward was good, food was good. The round dinner rolls were the best. They were crisp and delicious.  The only slight thing we did not like was if you ask for a table for two you will be given one, but it is right next to another table for two which really makes it a table for four. The only difference is about 6 inches in between.

The shore excurtions were good and the ship layout was user friendly pretty much.

I would recommend this ship and cruise.

There were a lot of elevators to go from one deck to the other. Anytime dining reservations a great idea

Island Princess is a very clean ship, meticulously maintained. It is extemely stable and we were very rarely even aware the ship was in motion or that engines were running. Our stateroom was on Dolphin Deck 9 but tne same is true when you are on lowest Deck 5. Everyone who provides service is extemely well trained, courteous, and friendly. It is not the biggest ship due to Panama Canal restrictions, but even on a 15 day voyage we felt we had every amenity we could want.

Plastic flowers and plants throughout the ship may be easier to maintain, but gave the ship a lower-class feeling. No shade for upper deck activities (e.g., shuffleboard). Golf putting facility was closed for repairs the entire trip.

The ship is lovely. Although I would prefer taller gathering common spaces at the lounging areas. There is great care taken to keep the ship in top shape and cleanliness!

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Princess mader us feel like we were 'extra special'! The scenery was spectacular, the excursions were great and everything was on time!

Everything was clean and well maintained. Crew was knowledgeable and helpful at all times. Very organized and impressives moving peoe and belongings from one destination to another.
