Review summary

If you want to tour the Panama Canal this is the ship & cruise to take. The ship is small & able to go through the original canal. At the time we went through water levels were low & only 50% of the ships could go through the canal. We were allowed to go.

I agree with you that the Island Princess is the perfect size ship for going through the Canal. We did this cruise a few year's ago and absolutely loved the itineraries. Thanks for your detailed review!

Did the same itinerary on her in 2019. We were also supposed to to Nicaragua, but weather was rough. Great cruise though canal. Wonderful for you!
