Review summary

Cruise ports were great. Staff were all awesome. The ship is pretty boring unless you are over 65. We are 58 and was pretty bored on sea days. Music around ship is mainly violin and piano. Around the pool very rarely any music. Smallest casino ever seen on a ship. Shows were pretty good. Food was pretty good. Dont waste your money on Sabatinis Italian it was very bad. Have had much better on other ships. Bring lots of reading material. However they do play good movies.

Nice clean Cabin with plenty of storage.

Ship tip

Bring lots of reading material. Great for alot of R and R but unless you are in your 70s it's boring on sea days. Some great lectures though. Music very old type... I'm in my 50s and music very old. Lots of violin type bands. But great for rest and relaxing.

AuntPinkie I have been on many cruises. I'm just saying that compared to all the others Large and small ships that I have been on this one was geared to much older age group. Again as I said if you like r and r this one is great. I slept very well and got plenty of sleep that is for sure. At least I am rested up for my South American cruise a month away.

We were on the Island Princess this Sept and loved it! Also am in fifties. Many, many activities like lectures, lessons and trivia.

My only problem with that ship was the coffee, they do t really have a international cafe. Been on that ship twice in Alaska but then again I'm over 65.
