Review summary

Good cruise, overall, except that Princess decided to substitute a stop in Ensenada for a stop in Nicaragua, due civil to unrest in Managua, which is about 300 miles from del Sur.

Bayou was the best production show we've ever seen on a cruise ship, and the performers, musicians, lighting, sound, and special effects were superb.

Bummer... the promenade did not circumvent the ship. Old signage has not been removed since horrible Princess remodel to install more staterooms in the area of the former promenade. Lots of unused area in remodeled decks 14 and 15. Otherwise, the ship is in good shape.

Mandatory long wait outside of our cabin until our assigned time of departure.

On this cruise in December. I know there is still unrest in Managua but I sure hope we can get to Del Sur. As far as I'm concerned, Ensenada is not worth a stop. Puerto Vallarta would be a MUCH better port.

Totally agree the Bayou show was excellent !

Yes. We were on the cruise also. Fortunately we had made this port on a cruise previously , so it wasn’t a catastrophe for us. We had not been to Ensenada though, so we did get to see a new port.
