Review summary

There were 8 of us on the cruise, one couple for there first cruise. We all talked about how good the food would be and it was not, I think I rated it a 3. The crew were great the caption was always so pleasant and got us all saying bye bye...There was a respiratory virus going around the ship and an awful lot of elderly folk so we were all nervous of getting sick.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything was very smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
we were a table of 8 at # 47 in dining room.we were disappointed in the food in the dining room so often we ended up at the buffet or having a hamburger outside on the deck. The soups were always manly to salty broth, the main meals steak, ribs were fatty, the sea food chewy...did not expect this to happen

Explorer's Lounge

4 out of 5

we spent most every night here, playing different games with the crew, they were so great

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
we did trivia in the Explorer lodge, danced, sat by the pool, walked around deck7, played cards..

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The onboard dancers were very good, we enjoyed the comedian. Project 5 was amazing

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
our room steward was great, the waiters we had in the dining room table 47. Robert and Muhammad were excellent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and they were always cleaning something

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was small, but worked for us. The bed was amazing and the balcony as well. It had a big tv and small shower...It was nice and cleaned everyday

Ship tip

Make sure to take no more than a 2 week cruise at a time , there were way to many quite elderly people on board this 19 day cruise.
