Review summary

I'd do it again mainly for the amazing scenery which was amazing. Photos cannot do it justice. You really have to see it in person. The land portion of the trip following the cruise was very good

Embarkation

Unfortunately, weather worked against us on this cruise. Glacier Bay was very cloudy but the next day College Fjord was bright and sunny. The ports of call have been negatively impacted by the frequent cruise ship visits. Tourism centered stores and shops The Island Princess is a smaller ship and it was nice not having to deal with the crowds found on the mega ships.

You nailed it! The scenery in Alaska is breathtaking (Especially up close to the glaciers). Beautiful land!
