Review summary

Our first cruise, I was very skeptical, I didn't want to leave the ship. Food was bountiful and great, mush to do, and Alaska is amazing!!! We participated in many activities, never felt bored. The naturalist on board was excellent, very down to earth, who really seemed to enjoy teaching us.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
very efficient, suitcases were at our door, as was our steward

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great, but we were disappointed with Sabatini's, the Italian restaurant on board. We had made our own reservations and were given a gift for a second dinner by American. We did not go back a second night.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
nature talks, evening shows, art auction, bingo, fitness center

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show was enjoyable, very talented singers and dancers. The comedian was very funny, we were howling.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
very attentive, friendly, responsive

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
very clean only fault I found was the small fitness center with no windows

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
appears bigger than it is, very clean, very functional

Ship tip

definitely get a room with a balcony

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We walked off the ship with our own luggage at 7:30, literally the second in line to disembark...very fast!! Global entry very helpful
