Island Princess Cruise Review to Panama Canal, Central America
Sail Date: November 19, 2011
Ship: Island Princess
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 6 years ago
Review SummaryThe ship was impressive in 99.9% of areas. Well maintained, clean and luxurious. There were two small areas that I thought should be addressed: One was the seating in the Universe Lounge - it was difficult to see the stage from the upper balcony due to the fact the chairs were lower than the railings or there were obstructions in the view. The second area was the condition of the chairs on the balcony - definitely needed to be replaced. Overall, the cruise, staff, food, etc. were outstanding.

Ports of Call
Pros: The view from the rear of the ship as we passed through the Gatun locks.
Cons: Wish we could have had more time in each port of call.
