Highly recommend his cruise

Sail Date: January 19, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Generally the ship is well appointed and very clean. It's a bit smaller than the giants, being of the "Panamax" class which is actually nice. Things are run in a very organized and competent fashion.

Pros: Caliber of the personnel. Extremely competent, corteous , and friendly

Cons: Transfers to and from the ship are slow and disorganized. Take taxis, they are cheaper.

Recommends Island Princess? Yes!

Entertainment
On board crew entertainers are quite good. Hypnotist show was below par. Don't miss the crew talent show where you'll see some of your waiters, etc. display their talents.
Food and Dining
Excellent food and variety in the dining rooms. The buffet is very good as well, but still a buffet. Excellent breakfasts.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Caliber of the crew is generally extraordinary.
Ship Quality
Cristobal, Panama
Take the boat tour that brings you through the entire canal to the Pacific. The best.
Don't Miss: Entire canal tour.
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
Limon is very dumpy, but the tour through the rain forest and banana plantation was great.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Cartagena, Colombia
