Review summary
Fantastic cruise! The ship is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The Norwegian fjords are stunning! Stravanger we got a boat tour from port to see the water falls. Olden is breathtaking!! We got a shuttle from port at 9:30 to the Glacier and hiked up- water falls and stunning glacier. Cheaper than cruise excursion. Then got a shuttle to the sky lift as we already had tickets. Get shuttle tickets all together they’ll do you a deal. The views from the top are breathtaking- I’ve never seen views so beautiful! We did these back to back and had plenty of time. Alesund we weren’t too fussed about. Haugesund - if you can walk for over an hr don’t pay for a shuttle - walk from the port to the rising tide statues. You can get a bus back to the bridge near the cruise port. Where appropriate footwear. The captain announced at 3am the northern lights!! And a lot went up on deck to see them. Viewable through your phone not naked eye too easily. Absolutely stunning! We loved this cruise and had so much fun. It pays to do your research on what there is to do at each port.Embarkation
