Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Didn't go hungry all week. Àte in MDR, buffet, taste 360 and the Quays, had room service too. All really yummy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Whirl pools and pools all lovely and walking the deck space very enjoyable. Made use of sky dome shows which were excellent. I didn't enjoy headliners as much, cast didn't seem as engaged as I have seen on previous ships, but for a free show after dinner good enough. Enjoyed talks available and also the new deal or no deal game which was fun.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Sky dome circus act was amazing, but headliners a bit lact lustre on this occasion.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Brilliant staff. All very friendly, more so than on other ships I have been on.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship and a marked step up from older ships. Iona has set the bar high and is now my favourite ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean, comfortable, everything I needed

Ship tip

She's more modern and will appeal to maybe new or younger clients. It gets alot of negative reviews from cruisers who have cruised alot of for a long time. They seem to think something is missing, having never experienced cruising pre COVID maybe they are right, but they tend to put people off and worry them about an experience which I found faultless and I feel lucky to have had. So what I'm saying is give it a go and don't worry, you will be fed, entertained and looked after and get to travel to some amazing places, enjoy what it is, not what you thought it would be.

Snow! In morning. Sun bathing in afternoon. Trip to strandafjell cable car was such an experience, no view at top because of cloud, but all that beautiful snow, like being in a snow globe!
