Review summary
Iona totally blew us away. The relaxed yet fun vibe suited us more than we expected it too. The right amount of formality with one celebration night a week. The vegan food was one of the biggest surprises, overall great choice is most venues. The entertainment was much better than expected and every evening was filled with options in various venues. Breakfast and late night buffet was always enjoyable with plenty of choice. Staff generally did a good job and they do work hard but the levels of service and etiquette you get on some other lines just isn’t there with P&O.Embarkation

Soo much better than we expected, even the in house dance shows. Brilliant Theatre. Somuch going on every evening. They really need to sort the sound out in the dome though, people were walking out.

This is probably our favourite ship to date and we’ve done some of the other big ones from lines like msc, royal and Norwegian. Stunning design and so many wonderful venues
Cabin / Stateroom
People complain about storage but we had no issues on a 14 night sailing. Lovely design and colours in the cabin and great size balcony as standard.
Ship tip
Use your daily planner as there’s so much entertainment you can go from one thing to the next every night.

Ports of call
This has to be one of my favourite cruise destinations and the sail in is wonderful under the bridge. City centre is walkable from the cruise port too.
