Review summary

Lots of fun. Lots to do. We were extended an extra day of our sailing due to the port being closed in Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

Embarkation

Quick, easy, painless and organized. Though I didn't expect to be able to board before our check-in time. I was pleasantly surprised that we could.

Onboard Activities

Cruise Director and staff did excellent jobs with all the entertainment and activities. We LOVED Battle of the Sexes, and Majority Rules. Love & Marriage, and Karaoke were fun too. Something new to me was the Karaoke with live band. That was cool.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

We had to wait for the gangway to reopen. The waves were so high/rough that it was unsafe to cross the gangway. The water also washed over the walkway, making it unsafe to walk. Once they restarted the process of allowing people off the ship (or back on) it was very unorganized and very long. The line went from the gangway deck up to deck 6 or 7. No staff was there to safely and properly direct traffic.

It poured while we were here but we didn't want to stay on board so we ventured out into the rain. We went over to Atlantis to walk around -though now they don't really let you do that anymore if you're not a guest. We ended up jumping in a van headed back to the port and then mid-ride decided to go over to Fish Fry for some lunch and drinks. That was great.

Disembarkation

This was a mess. Crazy and unorganized lines and no one had clear direction or where to go/be...then after being in line for a loooooonnnnnnggggg time everyone just turned around and started moving in the opposite direction and we were snaked around the dining room behind the staircase in front of the kitchen and to the outside deck. It was a very long and unorganized experience.
