Review summary

Cruse was great just need a course on diversity cause no they not

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was pretty smooth after small issue where one of our guest forgot original birth certificate where we literally found out hour before we boarded ship call RCC on phone they told us no way he could board without but we went on faith got to port they accepted a picture and copy so that was pretty much great for us. The lines were not long once they checked Covid paperwork we were let right on boat

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was pretty good I enjoyed the selection was alway great and there was something for everyone. The drinks they offer were very nasty not sure maybe they need change flavors they tastes more like diabetic drinks made with out sugar that was horrible to me but it was manageable

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The onboard activities as far as swim pools and other water areas were great plenty for children to do

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Entertainment hmm what can I say it was major lacking. There was much entertainment I’m use to Carnival where the party is always going they lacked music by pool area the bar and lounges lacked music the biggest issue was at Viking Lounge the DJ was not diverse he played Latin Music all night although many patron requested songs and tipped them he continued with Latin music if he did play a hip hop song it was outdated abt 15 years or if he played a newer song he turned it Latin. I feel he was from Latin America so he felt more comfortable with that. I even went as far as to ask him and he gotten upset with myself. I witnessed other people go off him him due to lack of diversity of music. One thing you cruise you want to party and it’s hard when the DJ is not great so for that I did not enjoy. The cruise director was energetic but they did not offer many times to engage.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The servers were great and was able to handle the crowd and they energy just made you want to tip them. Although I felt it was tacky they placed about 5 envelopes on bed a day saying tip tip tip

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Overall the ship was very beautiful just did not offer a lot I did enjoy RCC but I will have stick with carnival because they have much entertainment with the people and they are very diverse when it comes to other cultures vs there own culture but over all RCC owes me nothing my children throughly enjoyed they first cruise so I’m happy.

Ship tip

Your trip is what you make it especially if you are younger and like to party don’t look to DJ for that bring your own speaker and make your own party

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
With this being they private island they know they wrong for charging 110 a person to enter into the thrill park area they def should offered it at a lower rate or add it into cruise otherwise they ducking us dry. The food was better here then on the boat and they can use pointers from the oasis DJ cause they kept us very much entertained and we had a blast
