Easter week; nice but crowded

Sail Date: March 26, 2016

Reviewed: 6 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was very nice and clean. It was our first experience. We didn't expect such a crowd of children, little did we know so many people brought their families on a cruise. Live & learn!

Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom housekeeper was great, our room was always cleaned properly. She also makes the cutest towel animals to come in to see in the evenings (bunny, monkey)!
Embarkation and Disembarkation
A little over an hour to embark on our journey.
The tender process is tedious and time consuming to get onto Belize.
The disembarkation was under an hour.
Ship Quality
Very impressed with the ship.
Destinations and Excursions
Belize excursion was so-so, the ruins were interesting to see and climb. Town tour was less exciting. Cozumel's tour via jeep was fun, couldn't snorkel due to choppy water conditions, but had a good tour guide & authentic Mexican food!
Onboard Activities
Something for everyone at any time of the day or night!
Especially enjoyed the ice show & comedian!
Dancers & singers were good, as well as the movie "Creed" (acoustics hard to understand).
Service and Staff
Randy Johnson (head waiter), Adam Yanis (assistant waiter), were awesome. They were friendly, professional and accommodating.
Food and Dining
Main dining room, Romeo & Juliet, was peaceful.
Windjammer & Jade were crazy busy & crowded.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Belize City, Belize
saw the Mayan ruins, interesting. Next time, I'd pass on it and stay on the ship.
Cozumel, Mexico
Really enjoyed our Jeep adventure into the ecological areas of Cozumel.

If you want peace and quiet, don't cruise on Easter week when the kids are out of school. Otherwise, the cruise was very enjoyable.
