The ship is fantastic with an ice rink and skating shows as well as a great promenade and lots of activities. Service quality at the dining room and food quality at the buffet can (need to) be improved.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food quality at the buffet is mediocre - too much pasta and similarly cheap foods.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
creative, high quality with great facilities.

Children's Programs

Plenty of kids on board. Something to consider if you expect a quiet cruise.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Service at the dinning room has much to improve. Servers are slow and uninterested. A second cup of coffee (or a refill) does not happen. Period. Seems that the servers are overwhelmed or overloaded. Service at the cabin was great! keep in mind that there is no shampoo or conditioner (bring your own).

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spacious ( as much as possible) again - good service.

What sort of improvement would you suggest for the MDR and the buffet? I'm curious since we primarily cruise with Carnival and the one thing I consistently hear is Royal's food is better.
