A good experience with room for improvement

Sail Date: January 02, 2016

Reviewed: 10 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is fantastic with an ice rink and skating shows as well as a great promenade and lots of activities. Service quality at the dining room and food quality at the buffet can (need to) be improved.

Cabin / Stateroom
Spacious ( as much as possible) again - good service.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs Plenty of kids on board. Something to consider if you expect a quiet cruise.
Entertainment
creative, high quality with great facilities.
Service and Staff
Service at the dinning room has much to improve. Servers are slow and uninterested. A second cup of coffee (or a refill) does not happen. Period. Seems that the servers are overwhelmed or overloaded.
Service at the cabin was great! keep in mind that there is no shampoo or conditioner (bring your own).
Food and Dining
The food quality at the buffet is mediocre - too much pasta and similarly cheap foods.
