Review summary

Loved this cruise vacation....you felt like royalty...as you walked out of your room and were greeted by several of the staff.  Just about everytime you came back to your room you could tell that it had been cleaned and tieded....Waitress remembered us when she would see us throughout the day.  Waited on everywhere we turned.....Simply amazing.

The Ports were nice.....In Grand Cayman the port was a bit small and some empty building but then if you walked around the town you could find some nice places to eat and shop....just had to put a little more effort for shopping there. And make sure you remembered how to get from place to place. We ate at a small place by the ocean and food was very nice....just a small place but had several different fish dishes and they were very nice....prices are a bit higher in this area though......we could get some of the same spices in Jamaica for cheaper. In Jamaica the port was ammmmmaaaazing....very clean and nice. However, it isn't actually being in Jamaica but more in a shopping section. So if you are wanting more of the culture you have to leave the port area. The excursion we took while there took us through some of the more authentic areas of Jamaica. However, the port had wonderful items to choose from and traditional foods and spices....VERY NICE. Must try the beef pie they serve...there was a small stand with these for sell.....we had purchased one on our excursion and then one at the port....so yummy. Also, if you have a chance to try the coconut type cookie they make....YUM. Prices here seemed better and when we ate our lunch while out on our excursion it was much cheaper then in Grand Cayman. Labadee was simply relaxing -- enjoyed the Haitian market but be warned that the Haitians are poor and really try to sell their product........Lunch was provided by the cruise ship, as they had an area on the island for an open air buffet.
