Review summary

The Indepedence of the Sea is a beautiful ship and one of the cleanest ships we have been on. The food in the dining room was excellent, but the service though very friendly and outgoing needed a little polishing. Our outside stateroom was a good size and very clean. The Cruise Director was very talented and highly entertaining. The activities on the ship were plentiful, but the evening entertainment in the lounges was poor. Theatre acts were good. Our 4 ports of call were excellent. The old city of San Juan is beautiful and Labadee was a very pleasant surprise.
