We really liked the cabin location. Easy access to Royal Theatre and Park Cafe and shops and Rising tide bar.

Enjoy the trip, but don't expect much in the way of courtesy or service from this staff. They were a huge disappointment.

Make sure you reserve all the shows you can as soon as you get on board the ship. You can always cancel them.

Do all the shows. If you have to skip one, skip Grease. Only one person was amazing (Rizzo) like so many from Mama Mia on Allure. But the ice show and the aqua show had lots more wow moments.

Download the Royal app well before your trip. As soon as you are on board, use the app to make reservations for shows etc. I felt the new app was outstanding and very easy to use. Staffing numbers are down slightly which I feel is somewhat stressful for the workers. They all were tremendously positive and helpful, but I feel many were overworked. Our state room attendant had 19 rooms assigned. Typically they usually have about 15.

Start a walking/stairs workout program now so you’re prepared to walk (and take stairs) a lot. I took the elevator 4 times total in the week and averaged 40 flights of stairs per day (according to my watch).

We loved all of the activities in the On Air room - Name that Tune, trivia, karaoke - but the space is small and filled up fast. Be sure to arrive twenty minutes early to get a seat. Have a drink from the bar while you wait!

Cruise Director was not very visible. He was one of the poorest that we have had in all of the many cruises we have been on.

Johnny Rockets' free breakfast is a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the cooked to order food without having to go to the main dining room. They offer enough options so that I didn't feel like I was missing anything from the big buffet.
