Review summary

While the Harmony is a newer ship with more technology, we found it to be in disrepair with a significantly worse staff than normal. Even Allure which is older was a much more enjoyable vacation due to the ship being in good order and having a friendly staff.

Our 2 year old is potty trained and no longer wears swim diapers. That being the case, she couldn't play in the baby splash pad, but since she is only 2 she isn't 48" tall and couldn't play in the kids splash pad area (other than wadding in the water). This is ridiculous there is a huge gap from diapers to 48" that is not being met here.

It daughter had never been to daycare. The staff here was excellent and worked with her to give us time alone a couple of days and it was much appreciated.

I'm not sure why, but other than the WindJammer crew, we had a TERRIBLE experience with staff of this ship. Very rude and unhelpful. Almost felt as if they were even inconvenienced by our presence. We have been on over 15 RCL cruises and this was by far the worst one in terms of service.

The Ocean View Balcony room was significantly nicer than the exact same room on Allure. We had sailed Allure the week before and this felt larger and had a better layout. This included two closets or wardrobes. One on each side of the bed. It made for great organization and left plenty of room for a pack and plant for our daughter.
