Take the time to plan your My Time Dining and Shows. Get up early, stay up late and play all day!

Be patient...6700 people. Elevators can be a bit busy.

Book the water show early, you don't want to miss it.

definitely a balcony room

You'll love it! Make sure they're going to have what you like to drink before ordering drink packages. Also, make sure to book all of your entertainment before getting on the ship, shows do sell out.

Check your fees before you disembark. We had some errors in fees and had to go to customer service aboard the ship. Do this as soon as you can, do not wait until later in your cruise. Going to customer service on final night can mean wait times of up to 30 minutes standing in line.

Use the app! It makes getting around and knowing what is going on when much easier than the traditional way.

Get a suite. You have your own dining room, special privileges and a bunch of other perks that totally are worth the extra up front $. With over 6000 guests, you are treated exceptionally well and honestly, we didn't even notice that there were so many people on board.

Be aware there are a lot of kids and they come to the adult events!

Maybe have 2 or 3 on staff at locations who are experienced. We had several bartenders that couldn't make the drinks that were on the menu.

Make friends! We joined a facebook group called Harmony of the Seas and our sail dates. Look for one, or make on of your own! You will meet an amazing group of people that you get to hang out with on the ship. Our friends made our cruise! We all did a bar crawl together and hit every bar on the ship, and I think we will all keep in touch and stay friends forever!

Don’t change your mind!

Buy one Ultimate beverage package online before boarding, it's cheaper and necessary. Excursions are cheaper online before you board. Don't waste money on Cozumel Dolphin Excursions, they rip you off for pictures, buffet is inedible. Watch the Aqua theatre show "a fine line" right away and often

During COVID, please stay clear of elevators and crowded areas. Wear a mask if you are in a crowded area. Wash your hands often. Follow what crew members tell you to do and don't give them lip. They don't deserve that nor did they cause COVID. Getting COVID in vacation was not fun...at all. We are scientists and have seen what this virus has done to poeple. It's several weeks after our cruise and we are still coughing. We are fully vaccinated and have boosters. We wore masks almost all of the time. It happens and doesn't mean you won't get sick. It just means you will hopefully be less sick and also protecting others if you are contagious.

BYOB or you will go broke. Shop reviews of all the ships/lines. This is my second mega ship cruise. Avoid mega ships. Takes a long time to get around, and basically the size is increased to add a shopping mall down the center. Space was wasted here where more pool and show venue space should have been. The expensive shops did not have that much business to justify them - they were empty and the pools were packed.

Oasis class ships are very large, its often faster to navigate the length of the ship by using the non-public residential hallways instead of prominade decks.

HeadBeanCounter
Bring comfortable shoes that are good for lots of walking.
