Review summary

I aboslutely loved this trip & can't wait to book my next Royal Caribbean cruise!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was one of the best experiences we've ever had cruising. Getting on the boat was quick and painless. Bags were at our door within the first hour being onboard. I couldn't have asked for an easier process!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffetts provided so many options and were great - Serlieum as well as Wind Jammers! The specialty dining we did was Chops Steakhouse & Selerium's dinner option and both were phenomenal. I LOVED the 16oz bone in ribeye from Chops!! Highly reccomend. The wait staff in all the restaurants were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone was so kind and accomidating in general! Main dining was phenomenal, our wait staff (Gene and Song) were the aboslute best and we will miss them very much! Washi-Washi Happy Happy!!!!

Schooner Bar

5 out of 5

Schooner bar was excellent. The pianist was amazing & the bar staff was very accomidating. My favorite drink on the ship was here - the habenero grapefruit daquori (it's more like a martini!) it was DELICIOUS!

Boot and Bonnet Pub

5 out of 5

We absolutely loved boots & bonnet pub! Kieron played there every night and was very entertaining to watch. We taught the bar tenders how to make Irish Car bombs and 'sh*t on the glass' (creme de mint & baileys - try it if you love thin mints!!) so funny haha! The bar staff was so much fun and so kind! We absolutely loved this bar, it was our SPOT on the ship :D

Chops Grille

5 out of 5

We loved Chops. The food was phenomenal, we had the 16 oz bone in ribeye and boy was it AMAZING. HIGHLY reccomend this restaurant.

Solarium Bar

5 out of 5

Great bar with great service. They make the best frozen mojitos!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Tons of activities to do! We made a bunch of friends on our cruises facebook page and did bar crawls, karaoke, the night clubs, and shows! We really enjoyed all the shows onboard. The pool activities (belly flop and canon ball competitions) were sooo enjoyable to watch! The abyss and waterslides were also a blast :D ALSO, do crazy quest!! We were team captains and it was soooo much fun1!

Main Pool

5 out of 5

Pool was great, plenty of seats and a fun environment. They had a belly flop competition and canon ball competition, and those were so much fun! The water slides were great too!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Keiron at Boots & Bonet was an amazing performer. DJ's at the night clubs were great and entertaining. The caribbean band at the pool really set the mood and made that deck so much fun. One thing I wish was better was the going away party during Embarkation! I wish there was a little more.

Central Park

5 out of 5

Beautiful, beautiful park. The live wall and all the greenery is absolutely stunning.

Solarium

5 out of 5

Great venue for a quiet place to relax and tan. There was a part on this deck that you can walk out on with a glass floor over the ocean!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our waiters (Gene and Song), room stewardess (Maria) were absolutely amazing, we really loved them!! I'm giving this four stars because I had a bad experience with some of the bar tenders that i'd like to talk about here. I am 25 years old and paid for the drink package. I went to Selerium during the white party and asked for my first drink of the night, a vodka cranberry. After 15 minutes I recieved my drink - crandberry juice. I went back and told them there was no alochol in the drink and they then poured sprite in it... I had to get a 24 year old to get a drink for me because they were refusing me service because I look young. Same thing happened at the club where I ordered a drink and the bar tenders looked at me like I was underage - I told them my age, gave them my drink package card, and the bar tender proceeded to say 'yeah, and I'm 18'. Those were two things I really was uneasy about, that has never happened to me before and I felt disrespected as an adult. Other than those two things - I had an amazing experience with the rest of the staff members!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Excellent. Easy to find your way around, I learned the ships layout within the first two days and the ship was always VERY clean. I was very impressed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was great, we didn't run into anything like we do on other ships with smaller rooms. Balcony was beautiful! It was our first balcony room and we were very pleased. Maria was an amazing stewardess and was very accomindating and cleaned the room very well! We were quite happy with the whole experience.

Ship tip

Make friends! We joined a facebook group called Harmony of the Seas and our sail dates. Look for one, or make on of your own! You will meet an amazing group of people that you get to hang out with on the ship. Our friends made our cruise! We all did a bar crawl together and hit every bar on the ship, and I think we will all keep in touch and stay friends forever!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Easy on, easy off. Good port with lots of nearby hotels and restaurants.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Loved Labadee!! We went to the floating bar on the adrenaline beach and met an amazing group of people and had a great time dancing and hanging in the water! I also did the zipline and it was really neat!! Highly reccoment.

San Juan, Puerto Rico Did not visit port

Couldn't go due to protests :(

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
We loved St. Maarten. We did a bus tour and went to the French and Dutch sides, saw an iguana farm where we got to feed them and they crawled on us! Then we got to see the airport and go on the beach where the planes flew in and out over our heads and blasted us during take off! It was the highlight of St. Maarten.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy & quick. Took a half hour total to disembark, get your luggage, and get to the busses!
