7 Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Review summary

The cruise experience was positive in general. Good food, beautiful ship, nice shows, etc. My final advice: skip dinner in the main dining for one night and go to the solarium bistro (believe me); pay attention to you account movements in the bar (they bill me in excess in three different occasions); take any excursion with RC in Jamaica and PLEASE tip the room attendant and bar guys, even if you pay already the tips in advance.

Slow process moving passengers inside the building. The heat in that parking building is intense in June. The only good thing is that they gave priority to seniors and kids waiting in the line. The bad part, the rest of us had to wait longer.

Beautiful cabin and excellent view to the boardwalk. Pros: You can enjoy the positive mood of the passengers enjoying the boardwalk. Cons: a lot of noise coming from the basketball court and the kids screaming in that area very late in the night.

Ship tip

If you can handle normal voices, music and the carousel, this is the perfect room. But if you want more peace and silence, select a room in Central park or the ocean view side. In my case, It was a couples trip, so we didn't mind to much about the screams of the kids in the basketball court at night.

Ports of call

Falmouth, Jamaica

Don't try to walk around the area outside the main gate to the port. I didn't felt secure in that area. The area outside the gate is dirty, smells bad, too many sketchy people around. My advice is: rent a tour with RC. You can also hire a taxi driver to show you around, but there's not really interesting places to go near the port.
