Review summary

Need the local land staff educated and understand how to handle someone confined to a wheelchair and not send them out to a far off parking lot with no means of transportation to get back to the ship.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
OK, had some trouble with a wheelchair situation when we sent to a far off parking lot that had no way to handle the wheelchair situation and wee told talk the .5 + mile to the ship pushing a wheelchair for the person that could not walk. We were clear that we had we had a wheelchair and one of us could not physicly walk and we sent to that remote parking any way without letting the person with the chair off to wait for us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good and plentiful, especially considering the amount meals the are massed produced.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool was a challenge as our 47 old grown son had to use his flotation device because of his disability, it is inflatable that fits around him. Needed to go through some levels of management for that final permission, Royal Caribbean manager handled me well and let us enjoy the water.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Temperature Band in the Dazzels was the hit of the Cruise, they were incredible and entire 8 party group spent most nights there. All the show's were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dinning on Deck 3 table 226 at 5:00 PM with server Ronnie & Charlie were wonderful especially in handling my wheelchaired bound 47 year old son who has extremely limited capabilities. They were thoughtful and gentle with him. This in itself made our trip relaxing and our son did not feel like he was a burden the way they took care of him. Our son is 47 and basically a paraplegic. They cut up his food, took care of the drink cup which he must use. They were a blast and cannot say enough praises about them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was in great shape and always clean. The wheelchair assessable restrooms were GREAT.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our a 47 old son is in wheelchair and cannot walk, room and accessible role in shower was great. Highly recommend this room to anyone that is restricted full time to a wheelchair. Our cabin server was great as well.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Not much for a wheelchair bound individual. The staff on Coco Cay was extremely helpful in wanting to assist and helping us especially at meal time to help me get the wheelchair in the sand to a table to eat. Suggest you designate a couple tables on the hard concrete flooring for someone in wheelchair to roll up to to eat, they cannot get the chair in sand to a table, that was out trouble. The staff that helped us saved a measurable day and turned into a better day. The staff was so helpful and patient.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Did the wheelchair accessible vehicle tour as son restricted to wheelchair and cannot walk. It was very nice to have this option available, was the only we would get off the boat to see the Island. The driver was great with handling the wheelchair.
